We are so doomed

Monday should be really interesting. IMF considers that there may well be falls of say 25%.

In the meantime the Dow Jones has to be the worst index ever to be considered as a serious index. It is only 30 stocks. The method by which the actual index is calculated is so totally ridiculous.

Imagine that one company is five times larger than another. However, a one dollar movement for both companies ranks the same, there is no weighting for market capitalisation, that is for the value of the company as measured by its share price multiplied by the number of shares in issue.

Did anybody notice that it was Alistair Darling who went to the meeting, not wonderful George Brown who is the new ruler of the world, because all of his plans are, well, nothing but briliiant. Gordon must take over as head of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development etc...

No, poor old Darling has again been set up as the perpetual patsy, where it succeeds, well that is Gordon, where it fails it is Alastair. I won't forget the signing on his own of the Lisbon Treaty by our great leader, any failue it will always be somebody else.

If I was in this government I would ask for a recording to be kept of all my conversations, especially where the great nose picker is concerned, mind you he was probably adjusting the volume control on his microphone, they are everywhere you know.
