Do something

if labour continue with this rhetoric about the conservatives being the do nothing party then this will come back to haunt them.

It is sometimes better to actually do nothing. It would have been better to do nothing over Iraq, where doing something has only made the situation worse.

The same with Afghanistan, what is the point, what is the purpose, other than to kill people away from our shores.

It would have been better not to have nationalised Northern Rock, it would have been better to let it go because people saw how weak the government was, that they would bail them out, so as to get votes.

I am sure that other contributors could make a massive historic list of times when it would have been better to 'to nothing' rather than do 'something' which only exacerbates the situation.
