if there are any sane people left then may I humbly suggest that they obtain a copy of the International Herald Tribune for today. Why?
Because they have a great analysis of what has actually been happening with the Irish German Banks operating what I would regard as sharp practices. None of the lightweight stuff the boring Peston puts out this is for real.
Take a school in America, yes a school! They have a problem with their budget so what are they advised to do. Why borrow money against future income and then invest it, where the return on your investment exceeds the cost of borrowing. They only went and did it.
Now, teachers are being laid off, there is no money for equipment and I think you get the idea.
I want charges brought against these so called advisers. The ones who got councils and official bodies to put money into Iceland and other investments. I want them bankrupted. This is a national disgrace. It was not only in America it was here as well.
Gordon Brown, if there is one ounce of fairness left in that body of yours then I want, no demand, action from you and this most appalling parliament. You have failed in your duty to protect this country. Could it possibly be that you will not do anything because of who your paymasters are. Fanciful, then consider as others have the situation where a case possibly involving the corruption and bribery involving Saudi Arabia was dropped because of the national interest, and who do you want money from why Saudi Arabia, payback time or what.
