I think that Gordon Brown will do anything to avoid PMQs. Since his 'election' how many times has he actually taken PMQs, as against the number of weeks available to him.

I would trust Brown if he did not read out the names of the dead soldiers every week. It is now revealed to all that he does not mean what he says. If he did then he would announce an inquiry into the Iraq war, with the attendant loss of life on both sides, and furthermore would announce that no British troops will be sent to Afghanistan, in fact we will be withdrawing our soldiers by the end of the year.

Finally, he should come clean on our involvement in torture, our part in detaining individuals who were subsequently tortured by any third party. How many of the enemy have actually been captured in Afghanistan, and how many killed.
