how can Gordon Brown go on about family when he takes his wife with him to America for a thirty minute chat to the president. Who is looking after the children, the children they are meant to love so much. The qiestion has to be asked is family life incompatible with high political office.

It has not gone unoticed that Brown will not be able to take PMQs again this week. I wonder what sort of a job Harriet Harman will make of it. Is she getting ready for the real thing.
