This is embarrassing
do you know who I blame. The policeman on the door of No.10
My reasoning is that President Obama, a directly elected leader, when stepping up to the door of No 10 can be seen offering his hand to the policeman and the two of them shaking hands. Now that shows to me a common touch, that the President seems instinctively to know that the day that that policeman shook the hand of the President will live in the memory and be looked at with pride in future years and by future generations. The day I shook the hand of the President of the United States.
As for the Prime Minister, who nobody has voted for in England and who by some coup now runs this country, well the poor policeman continued to hold out his hand, as a matter of respect because it was the same hand which had proferred and accepted the hand of the leader of the free world, well Gordon disdainfully withdrew his hand. It says it all about the PM, it really does.
Tony Blair was elected, whether we like it or not, to serve a full term, but that was going to be it. I consider that Gordon Brown lacks any legitimacy and it shames this country when he represents us. Please give us an election. This is actually embarrassing.
