Careless Talk Costs Lives
just saw Yvette Cooper on the Andrew Marr show this morning.
I was surprised that he didn't ask her about her own mortgage arrangements with her husband Ed Balls.
Furthermore, he could have asked her about Peter Mandelson and how the general population should fill in a mortgage application. What advice would she give to anybody who had filled in a mortgage application whilst being economical with the truth.
Maybe Andrew could have asked her about the appalling situation now becoming apparent in Afghanistan. He may have introduced her to a certain David Davies who was very open and honest about leaks now coming into the public domain, about which of course the government will not comment on.
I think I see a trend developing in respect of the media, we are in a desperate situation, careless talk costs lives, you don't know who is listening, maybe we ought to have the the WWII posters warning us about fifth columnists reissued only with an economic bent to them. Let's shoot the messenger.
They can't have it both ways, when there is a fault in the system and you don't report it you are a failure, and complicit possibly for remaining silent, ie, you are not a whistle blower. Or conversely, if you say something then you are traitor because you have undermined the very society in which you live and have made your living, when should we remain silent, do we do things for selfish reasons or are we altruists.
I think that what worries these people most of all is that they totally fail to understand the power of the internet. Some who have been referred to in derogartory terms as conspiracy theorists should be looked at in a new light.
As I have said before 'I love the smell of napalm' or should it be cordite. Gordon, the saviour of the world, the great paternalist, the despot, the great war leader, TGFG. We are heading for a totalitarian state, its best for you, you know it is.
