it is your final comment which to me is most interesting about Cameron going for the liberal votes over torture. Now you will know that I actually have a petition on the No 10 site requesting an inquiry into allegations of torture. What I find interesting is the fact that the PM did not make his declarations about torture in the form of a formal statement to the House, like when Hutton apologised. The PM proves to me that he is not democrat, that he does not believe in parliament, and that, to be very unparliamentary he is a phoney. I do not think that I am in any way a soft liberal. Cameron should not have withdrawn his comment, if he said it he believed it, if he didn't mean it then he shouldn't have said it.Thankyou.
