Careless Talk

I see that President Obama is now coming under pressure because guess what, he is going to continure the Aghan problem with regard to POWs in the same way as his predessor, namely these are prisoners of war and we will treat them as such. How interesting that the optimism is already beginning to evaporate. I wonder when we can expect to hear from the Stop the War supporters that they have backed the wrong horse.

Same with China. Clinton just wants to talk about the economy, forget about human rights that can be sorted later.

Interesting that even the unelected Lord Mandelson should refer to the problems with the car industry when raised by a union leader, with the disdain of careless talk...Ah, a wonderful minister for jobs, you know the British jobs for British workers, well that depends on there being jobs!
